This role is perfect for an experienced business analyst with a passion for teaching and mentoring individuals who are new to the field of business analysis. Per hour depending on experience.

About the Role:

As a Business Analysis Technical Coach/Mentor, you will guide and teach aspiring business analysts who are new to the field. You will provide them with a solid foundation in business analysis concepts, assist with practical exercises, and support their journey to obtain certifications such as CBAP and PMI-PBA. You will help students build confidence and prepare for a successful career in business analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Teach and guide students who are just starting their business analysis careers.
• Cover foundational concepts such as requirements gathering, stakeholder management, process mapping, and business process improvement.
• Teach advanced topics like data analysis, agile methodologies, and strategic analysis.
• Conduct virtual classes and hands-on labs to reinforce business analysis principles.
• Assist students in preparing for certifications like CBAP, PMI-PBA, and other industry-recognized credentials.
• Provide constructive feedback on technical exercises, projects, and case studies.
• Share insights about career paths in business analysis, industry trends, and job responsibilities.
• Help students develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills for real-world scenarios.
• Create and maintain lesson plans, tutorials, and resources tailored to beginners.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience in business analysis, with expertise in methodologies, tools, and practices.
• Proficient in key BA tools such as JIRA, Visio, Lucidchart, Tableau, and SQL.
• Strong communication and teaching skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for beginners.
• Must possess certifications like CBAP or PMI-PBA.
• Passion for mentoring and helping students succeed in their business analysis careers.
