This role is perfect for an experienced data analyst with a passion for teaching and mentoring individuals who are new to data analysis. Per hour depending on experience.

About the Role:

As a Data Analysis Technical Coach/Mentor, you will guide and teach aspiring data analysts who are new to the field. You will provide them with a solid foundation in data analysis concepts, assist with hands-on projects, and support their journey to obtain industry-recognized certifications. You will help students build confidence and prepare for a successful career in data analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Teach and guide students who are just starting their careers in data analysis.
• Cover foundational concepts, including data collection, cleaning, and visualization.
• Teach advanced topics like statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data storytelling.
• Conduct virtual classes and hands-on labs to reinforce data analysis principles.
• Assist students in preparing for certifications such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Analytics.
• Provide constructive feedback on technical exercises, projects, and analysis scenarios.
• Share insights about career paths in data analysis, industry trends, and job responsibilities.
• Help students develop problem-solving and analytical skills to tackle real-world data challenges.
• Create and maintain lesson plans, tutorials, and resources tailored to beginners.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience in data analysis, with deep expertise in tools like Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Proficient in handling large datasets, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
• Strong communication and teaching skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for beginners.
• Must possess certifications in data analysis or related fields (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).
• Passion for mentoring and helping students succeed in their data analysis careers.
