This role is perfect for an experienced DevOps professional with a passion for teaching and mentoring individuals who are new to DevOps practices and tools. 𝐏𝐚𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐞:

$50-$100

Per hour depending on experience.

About the Role:

As a DevOps Technical Coach/Mentor, you will guide and teach aspiring DevOps engineers who are new to the field. You will provide them with a strong foundation in DevOps principles, tools, and best practices, assist with hands-on labs, and support their journey to obtain certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or other relevant certifications. You will help students build confidence and prepare for successful careers in DevOps.

Responsibilities:

• Teach and guide students who are just starting their DevOps careers.
• Teach foundational DevOps concepts such as CI/CD pipelines, containerization, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation.
• Conduct virtual classes and hands-on labs to reinforce core DevOps principles.
• Assist students in preparing for certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer and other industry-recognized credentials.
• Provide constructive feedback on technical exercises, projects, and real-world DevOps scenarios.
• Share insights about career paths in DevOps, industry trends, and job responsibilities.
• Help students develop their troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in DevOps environments.
• Create and maintain lesson plans, tutorials, and resources tailored to beginners.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience in DevOps, with deep expertise in tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, and Git.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure automation.
• Strong communication and teaching skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for beginners.
• Must possess advanced certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar.
• Passion for mentoring and helping students succeed in their DevOps careers.
