𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐒 𝐒𝐘𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐒 is looking for a seasoned Programming Fundamentals Technical Coach/Mentor to join our team on a remote contract basis. This role is perfect for an experienced software engineer with a passion for teaching and mentoring individuals who are new to programming. 𝐏𝐚𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐞:

$50-$100 per hour depending on experience.

About the Role:

As a Programming Fundamentals Technical Coach/Mentor, you will guide and teach aspiring software engineers who are new to the field. You will provide them with a strong foundation in programming principles, assist with coding exercises, and support their journey to mastering the fundamentals of software engineering. You will help students build confidence and prepare for a successful career in the tech industry.

Responsibilities:

• Teach and guide students who are just starting their software engineering careers.
• Teach foundational programming concepts, including algorithms, data structures, OOP, and problem-solving techniques.
• Conduct virtual classes and hands-on coding exercises to reinforce key programming principles.
• Provide constructive feedback on coding projects and technical exercises.
• Share insights about career paths in software engineering, industry trends, and job responsibilities.
• Help students develop debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Create and maintain lesson plans, coding examples, and resources tailored to beginners.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong understanding of foundational concepts such as algorithms, data structures, and OOP principles.
• Hands-on experience with modern development tools and environments.
• Familiarity with coding best practices, software development lifecycle, and debugging techniques.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills, with the ability to break down complex topics for beginners.
• Passion for mentoring and helping students succeed in their programming careers.
