This role is perfect for an experienced project manager with a passion for teaching and mentoring individuals who are new to the field. 𝐏𝐚𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐞:

$50-$100

Per hour depending on experience.

About the Role:

As a Project Management Technical Coach/Mentor, you will guide and teach aspiring project managers who are new to the field. You will provide them with a solid foundation in project management principles, assist with hands-on case studies, and support their journey to obtain certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or Agile certifications. You will help students build confidence and prepare for a successful career in project management.

Responsibilities:

• Teach and guide students who are just starting their project management careers.
• Teach foundational project management concepts such as project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Conduct virtual classes and hands-on exercises to reinforce project management principles and best practices.
• Assist students in preparing for certifications like PMP, CAPM, or Agile certifications.
• Provide constructive feedback on project charters, timelines, budgets, and risk management scenarios.
• Share insights about career paths in project management, industry trends, and job responsibilities.
• Help students develop their leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in project environments.
• Create and maintain lesson plans, tutorials, and resources tailored to beginners.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience in project management, with deep expertise in methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches.
• Extensive knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Trello, Jira, or Monday.com.
• Proven experience in leading diverse projects across industries and delivering successful outcomes.
• Strong communication and teaching skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for beginners.
• Must possess advanced certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe).
• Passion for mentoring and helping students succeed in their project management careers.
