About the Role:
As a Web Development Coach/ Mentor, you will guide and teach aspiring web developers who are new to the field. You will provide them with a solid foundation in web development concepts, assist with hands-on coding projects, and support their journey to build professional-level websites and applications. You will help students build confidence and prepare for a successful career in web development.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and guide students who are just starting their web development careers.
- Cover foundational web concepts such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
- Teach modern frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, and Vue.js.
- Conduct virtual classes and hands-on coding sessions to reinforce web development principles.
- Assist students in building full-stack projects using Node.js, Express, and databases like MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Provide constructive feedback on coding exercises, projects, and debugging scenarios.
- Share insights about career paths in web development, industry trends, and best practices.
- Help students develop problem-solving skills and tackle real-world coding challenges.
- Create and maintain lesson plans, tutorials, and resources tailored to beginners.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of professional web development experience, with expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Proficient in core web development tools and languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
- Hands-on experience with server-side development (Node.js, Django, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and deployment strategies is a plus.
- Strong communication and teaching skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for beginners.
- Must possess certifications or proven expertise in web development technologies.
- Passion for mentoring and helping students succeed in their web development careers.
